(February 4, 2024, Shanghai) Hilong Offshore Construction (Thailand) Limited under the Hilong Group recently signed a pipeline and platform installation and removal service contract worth a total value of roughly $76.2 million with Mermaid Subsea Services (Thailand) Ltd.
Per the contract, Hilong Offshore Engineering will provide engineering construction services to Mermaid Thailand in 2024, including the installation of two new wellhead platforms, two new pipelines, and the removal of 33 topside platforms and 34 conductor frames.
Hilong Offshore Engineering stated that signing this contract demonstrates the high level of recognition Hilong's offshore engineering services have garnered within the industry. Additionally, it contributes to further expanding its presence in the Southeast Asian market.
Mermaid Thailand is a subsidiary of Mermaid Maritime Public Company Limited that mainly provides inspection, repair, and maintenance services as well as cable laying services.
